AmCham Cuba is a recognized clearing house of apolitical information on U.S.-Cuba relations, and, since 1960 when the American chamber of commerce had to leave Havana, has been a contact point for U.S. business people interested in investment in Cuba when conditions permit. All members get our newsletter and meeting notices, but only corporate members get special reports on international investment in Cuba, travel, research assistance, and economic trends, and the chance to get to know expert speakers.

Our mission is to help U.S. firms to position themselves to cope with Cuba's evolving policies. Modest dues enable us to focus on long-term goals. By taking no political positions, we promote exchange of diverse views among 150+ members. We complement U.S.-Cuba business councils which assist U.S. firms interested in doing business with, and not necessarily in, Cuba. We have offices in Washington and Miami and will re-open one in a free-market Cuba when appropriate. We access the mainstream of U.S. business opinions related to Cuba through our membership in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

AmCham Cuba's mission is to provide members with informational support and facilitate networking among firms who share an interest in resumed trade and investment in Cuba when appropriate. For specialized data, corporate members turn to our research sources and meet with our prestigious Advisory Council. Several times each year, AmCham Cuba members and guests meet over lunch in Washington and Miami to hear experts on U.S.-Cuba policies, investment and trade conditions in Cuba and current socio-economic conditions on the island.
